The usual - ramblings of someone who can't find anything better to do at the time! Former P. A., freelance photojournalist (untrained, just got lucky) on small town paper whose work dried up. Now retired and busy every day.

Indeed, a one off name for a one off lady ;)
I like the name for your blog, and I'm reading it two ways, both of which are appropriate: Pyk's peeks, (which is what you meant) or Pyk speeks (the spelling isn't right, but still, it fits.)
Reading bits and pieces of your blog, and perusing your photos have helped me get through a moderately stressful day here at work,
I ran the two words together this time because I want it to be a mix of both peeks at life and speeks on it and it can be interpreted just as anyone wants!
Glad that I lightened your day in Kansas!!
