The usual - ramblings of someone who can't find anything better to do at the time! Former P. A., freelance photojournalist (untrained, just got lucky) on small town paper whose work dried up. Now retired and busy every day.

I love this photo - there is just so much happening; Are the bird's wings opening ready to fly? What is the guy looking at?
And the costume with the glove and rope - it's wonderful!
Sold to the man with the weird name - wot's yer address? A freebee - who wants to be rich anyway?
There were more of the hunting birds and every now and again one would be sent skyward and return. The guy was perhaps a little embarrassed? The parade had halted for a few minutes and he was under close inspection by hundreds of people?
I'm phobic about birds in enclosed spaces but I love watching the hunting birds working - weird innit? Whether he's embarrassed or not I think the whole thing works really well - takes a good photographist to make all that happen ya know!
Oh you say all the right things!
What struck me was the facial similarity. We often see it in peole with their dogs and I thought this one brought another species into the category!
I'll have to have a look at the guy who was leading a donkey!!!
OH .. I meant his face.
How embarrassing, blush! LOL x
