Well, these have all come along nicely. Not sure how long it'll be before the toms ripen up though. I've got two cherry tom plants in the hanging baskets and the tall ones each now have 5 sets of flowers so it's time to top 'em off. I wonder how adie's are doing? Looking at the plants I seem to have a penchant for purple this year!

Your flowers have really grown and filled out and are so colorful! It has gotten so hot the last couple of weeks (well, it IS the middle of July, after all) and I am having to water my hanging plants about every day.
I think we've had our summer ... the couple of weeks of hot weather has given way to very much cooler though not a great deal of rain so the garden still needs watering. I wonder if your tomatoes were getting enough water, adie? I left mine for just a day and they were wilting and I had to really soak em the next day to perk them up.
Noticed the same with my one hanging window box at the front which I tend to forget, not being ground level, pj, I gave it a good drink yesterday and will have to remember to include it in future!
I've got quite a few toms on the plants, adie, but they're all still tebbly green! The last week or so has been wet, with not a lot of sunshine ... fingers crossed that summer will return!
