Pots of Plants

Just a little journey through time
Et Voila!

I think my plants are probably at the best they'll ever be at the moment. Some of the plants have started to 'go over' even so I reckoned this was about as good as they're going to get. Lots of cherry tomahtoes ;) at the moment. I'll have to get eating or sharing them, and the large ones are coming along nicely though may be destined for chutney or relish if I can pull my finger out.
I probably could have got the flowers to look bushier if I had stood taller but wanted to capture the tomatoes in the hanging which are, naturally, hanging!

thank you :) x
It's more fun than looking at concrete and gives me something to 'nurture'!
Now toms all ripening at once I'll have to start leaving 'em on neighbours' doorsteps!

Lovely series of photos. I am ashamed of mine this year as we kept going away and they all sort of lost the will as they dried up.

Reminder to self - must try harder.

Thank you morning .. taking the photograph at the beginning urged me on. When I arrived at this house in autumn the small front garden was a weed patch, the following summer 2002 we were all fervent with da Queen's golden jubilee and I planted my garden with red/white and blue and took a picture. It was great being out there when passerbys by would stop and chat and compliment me on the garden. The following year I continued caring for the garden and even entered the 'Lovely Louth' competition. In the meantime a new next door neighbour also made her garden beautiful (better than mine!) and the new neighbour next to her cleared up her garden and blow me, the new neighbour next to THAT one sorted out his front garden too, as did MY other next door neighbour. It's great to see passers by slow their step a little and admire, nay, appreciate the gardens. And it's nice to come home and have lovely colours welcoming me up the garden path .. better than being led up it! ;)
I enjoy looking back at those garden pictures I took!

Neighbour commented today that I don't have to have a surfeit of tomatoes, i can put them in the freezer.
