Yeah!! Helen's was with a zoom, obviously, and John's an 'in yer face' one. Looking through my pix I can acknowledge that my forte is portraiture (is that a word?). In some ways it's a surprise because I was told at one time to use a zoom - maybe there's a technical reason for that or maybe it was because it was assumed that people would feel less nervous with the photographer at a distance. However, I use the wide angle up close and maybe the results are testiment to how comfortable they feel with that. Or maybe it's just that all they see is a camera in their faces and not a whole person at a distance and it's easier to be comfortable with an inanimate object? Whichever the explanation, even I think I 'done good' :) xx Thank you, sweetheart.
What you see aint necessarily what you get in the layout when initially keying in these posts, y'know!!! Well, if I was a computer techie or geek I spose I'd know how to prevent it, but I'm not!
Yes, thanks Mr Squid, the names should have been t'other way around but I uploaded the Helen piccie first! If I go back and edit I'll getr one of those great huge spaces between the subject and the post and those really annoy me!
The usual - ramblings of someone who can't find anything better to do at the time! Former P. A., freelance photojournalist (untrained, just got lucky) on small town paper whose work dried up. Now retired and busy every day.

Is it just me or does Helen look like a man and John look like a woman?
Oh, silly me, either the pics are upside down or the labels are. They are aren't they?
